Meet the Tri Cities Weight Loss Team

Asdrubal Lopez, DC, CCSP, DACBSP – Founder, Tri-Cities Weight Loss
As a certified sports chiropractor with advanced credentials in the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, Dr. Lopez has spent his career helping people reclaim their active lives. He is the owner of a successful sports chiropractic clinic in Spokane, Washington, where he works daily with patients who are sidelined by pain, injury, and the frustration of no longer being able to do the things they once loved.
Throughout his career, he has helped countless individuals return to sport and activity through a holistic approach that blends mobility, stability, and goal-specific exercise programs. But over time, one pattern became painfully clear: many patients, once released from care and cleared to return to life, felt lost. They had let go of hobbies, stopped playing sports, gained weight, and no longer knew how to move forward.
"It was hard to watch,” Dr. Lopez shares. “They were physically capable of returning to life—but emotionally and mentally, they had given up. They didn’t know what to do next, how to eat, how to move, or even what they were working toward. I knew I had to do something.”
That something became Tri-Cities Weight Loss—a natural extension of his mission to help people live pain-free, active, and fulfilling lives. With extensive training not only in sports injury management but also in nutrition, Dr. Lopez brings a deep, evidence-based approach to holistic weight loss and long-term health.
His mission is to help people achieve lasting results—not with shots or prescriptions, but with natural tools like proper nutrition, effective supplementation, and guided accountability.
He currently works with USA Track and Field and had the honor of supporting Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. When he's not helping athletes or patients transform their health, you’ll find him playing soccer, golfing, working out, or enjoying time with his family.
With a clear vision to make weight loss simple and sustainable, Dr. Lopez is committed to helping others reclaim their health—naturally.

Chris Dupree – Co-Founder, Tri-Cities Weight Loss
After years in the fast-paced world of biotech and pharmaceuticals in Cambridge/Boston, MA, Chris made a pivotal decision—to leave the industry and pursue a more natural, holistic approach to health and healing. During his five years managing operations and supporting researchers in the development of medications and cures for disease, he saw firsthand the value of science—but also recognized the growing need for prevention through lifestyle, nutrition, and sustainable habits.
Health has always been close to home for him. Growing up, my family owned a local nutrition store, where Chris learned early on about the importance of eating well and staying active. That foundation shaped not only his personal life but also his professional path, leading him to promote wellness through roles in medical device sales, fitness equipment, and high-performance kitchen tools—all aimed at supporting healthier living.
His passion for health and personal wellness, combined with his active lifestyle as a tennis player and shareholder at the Boise Racquet & Swim Club, inspired him to co-found Tri-Cities Weight Loss. His mission is to help people achieve lasting results—not with shots or prescriptions, but with natural tools like proper nutrition, effective supplementation, daily habits, and guided accountability.
With a clear vision to make weight loss simple and sustainable, Chris is committed to helping others reclaim their health—naturally.
